US regulators announce guidance on third-party risk management: ‘a key compliance issue’

US federal banking regulators have published updated guidance on managing the risk of third-party relationships, expanding the scope of existing guidance and broadening its reach to include all three regulators: the US Federal Reserve, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
