ECB warns banks on hedge fund and family office counterparty credit risks

In an ECB blog post published on 13 January, chair of the ECB Supervisory Board, Andrea Enria, warned institutions that they need to “go beyond mere compliance with regulatory requirements” and their approaches should adequately reflect the complexity of their products and counterparties, and fast changing market conditions.
